So I decided to try it again. After all, she is a bit older, right? Sierra hasn't been sleeping well. (Neither has the kid before her or the kid after her, but that's another story!) I am bound and determined to not let her watch videos all day, despite her fatigue. I am running out of ideas. So today we did the pudding paints again.
Remember how well she did last time? Maybe 2 minutes and one lick?
Today we progressed. She made it about 10 minutes; mostly licking her fingers, but whatever. It was 10 minutes!
Her sisters declined on joining-in this time. That was a bummer.
Turns out Daddy had more fun in store for them! In the afternoon they pulled out their science labs and got to work!
Ummm... do you think they could have chosen something a little messier? Ha!
Ok, so daddy wins. Sierra lasted twice as long with this as she did with my paints. Live and learn!
Yes, a fun time was had by all.
And, here's a fun little twist to our story. The color did NOT want to come off their hands. So we went to church with blue hands -er - the girls and Daniel went to church with blue hands. Tomorrow is Allison's first piano recital and... well, I am praying it comes off by then! :)
